With great sentiment, but also with an eye toward the future, we announce that May 15, 2026, marks the official end of MevaSearch.org. We would like to thank all the users who trusted us and used our services.
With this change, MevaSearch is fully transitioning to a subscription-based model.
MevaSearch.org is Coming to a Close
What Was MevaSearch.org?
MevaSearch.org holds a special place in the history of our project. It was the very first MevaSearch domain. Following the acquisition of MevaSearch.com, it initially redirected users to the new platform.
Later, after MevaSearch was acquired by WebOrbiton, MevaSearch.org returned as the free version of the platform. Unlike the premium MevaSearch.com, the .org version:
· Used the Google Programmable Search Engine rather than our proprietary WebAtlas index and Brave API.
· Did not require creating an account.
· Enforced a limit of 100 searches per day per user.

Why the Change?
At the beginning of 2026, Google announced the upcoming termination of the Google Programmable Search Engine service with full-web search capabilities.
This event forced us to make a strategic decision. To maintain high-quality services, develop our proprietary WebAtlas index, and integrate advanced AI features, we needed to focus entirely on the paid model. The costs of maintaining advanced infrastructure exceed the potential revenue from a free tier. Furthermore, introducing ads would not only be inefficient but would also directly conflict with our core motto and commitment to a completely ad-free experience.
